Sharing Your Information

Marine Credit Union has established business relationships with various third-party vendors and other affiliates to help deliver our services to you or to inform you of a broader array of products. In the examples below, we refer to affiliated and non-affiliated third parties. Affiliated third parties refer to an entity in which Marine Credit Union has partial ownership. An example of this right now is Consumer Loan Services. Non-affiliated third party refers to all of our other relationships. Our practices are as follows:

  • We do not share information with non-affiliated third parties concerning your your account with us, except: a)to verify the condition and existence of your account for a third party (such as a credit bureau); b)to complete a transaction or perform a service you've requested; c)to comply with any court order or applicable laws or regulations; or d)when you give us your written permission (e.g., verification of deposits.) Before establishing these relationships with reputable parties, we require strict privacy protection practices. As appropriate, we may maintain written confidentiality agreements with such parties as a means to safeguard member information. We also required that they use your personal information only to complete the service requested.

  • Marine Credit Union does not and will not sell or provide your personal information to any third party for independent use. As permitted by law, we may enter into joint marketing agreements with non-affiliated third parties or other financial institutions to provide you with products and/or service to enhance your well-being.
